The theme for this year's International Day of Disabled Persons is a call for the inclusion of people with disabilities in development strategies. In declaring this theme, the UN acknowledges that in order to achieve development goals, it is important to consider how citizens with disabilities can be more fully integrated into society. On December 3rd, 2005, let us celebrate our abilities, as well as the progress we've made toward the enjoyment of all of our human rights around the world.
